New knee support: GenuTrain S Pro

The new GenuTrain S Pro support provides support for the ligaments to ensure more stability in the knee joint. Unlike the GenuTrain S, the lateral joint splints on the new support have restrictable hinges. The flexion angle can be limited to 30°, 60° or 90° and the extension angle can be locked at 0° or 20°.

With the introduction of ManuRhizoLoc, the new wrist orthosis with a removable thumb support, the ManuLoc wrist orthosis and RhizoLoc thumb orthosis also underwent an redesign. Together, these three stabilizing orthoses offer a wide range of care options for hand injuries. They provide particular support for functional therapy and offer the persuasive advantage of being easy to put on and take off without help from the patient's other hand.

New CME program for Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists and Pedorthists.

Bauerfeind is launching a Continuing Medical Education program for Athletic Trainers , Physical Therapists and Pedorthists. The course, titled In-shoe pressure analysis, is geared towards individuals wanting to acquire a better understanding of how to effectively use new pressure analysis technologies for improved foot assessments and therapy with foot orthotics.
